2020 Uxbridge 5 Mile Race

The second Uxbridge 5 Mile Race organised by Bamford Group under UKA rules in association with Balcony Shirts and Sponsored by Lakin & Co Estate Agents. The route for the race is a mixed residential and canal section setting that starts and finishes in the beautiful Fassnidge Park. The race is organised by runners for runners and is a fast and flat route with a section of canal and small set of stairs. There will also be a free fun run for children of around 600m starting at 9.45am. No pre registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No liabilities are held against Bamford Group.

Date: Sunday 17th May 2020 at 10.00am. Race Licence No: 2020-38513 by RunBritain/ UK Athletics. Race HQ and Start: Fassnidge Park, Uxbridge, Middlesex. Gates open at 09:00! Enquires: nicholas@bamford-group.co.uk ONLINE ENTRIES ONLY Payment: Pay by major credit/debit cards via Stripe with Bamford Group online payment system. Entry Fee: Affiliated Athlete £14.00 Un-affiliated £16.00 Entries Close: at 9pm on Friday 15th or sooner, if race capacity is reached. Chip Timing: Event Chip Timing Race limit: 500 No entry fee refunds. No transfer of race numbers to another person is allowed. Prizes: Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Man and Woman. Plus age categories 40+,  50+, 60+, 70+ Male & Medal & T-shirts to all finishers.

Uxbridge Train Station (Metropolitan/ Piccadilly lines) and Uxbridge Bus Station is only 5 minute walk to Race HQ. Car Parks highlighted below.Please respect the residents and our community. Race time limit of 1.30 hours. After this time the course will be un-marshalled, facilities and signs packed away and we cannot guarantee the timekeepers will be at the finish line to record times.
